🇮🇹 Mancano 5 giorni al Granny Square Day organizzato da Simply Crochet.

Corner to Corner Crochet with Puff Stitch
Corner to corner crochet (C2C) This technique is great for creating colourful pieces. The fabric is made up of blocks worked in diagonal rows, starting in one corner and finishing in the opposite corner.
A Puff Stitch Block is made substituting the second tr of the block with a puff stitch.
How to crochet a Puff Stitch
Make the puff stitch inserting the hook in the second chain of the 3chs space. Yarn over, insert the hook in the second chain of 3chs space, *yarn over and then draw up a loop, rep from * 4 times more. Yarn over and draw it through all the loops, one ch to close the stitch.

Celebrate Love Corner to Corner Granny Square
See the Chart for square design. On the chart, each square represents one block. Start reading the Chart from the bottom right corner where Row 1 is labelled and continue reading diagonally. Read odd rows right to left and even rows left to right. Instructions contain only the first 3 rows. Continue working with C2C technique and follow the Chart. Make the puff stitch pop up on the same side (right side).

To finish Celebrate Love Corner to Corner Granny Square
Optional add a border. With RS facing, join Orange 252 with a ss to any border st of the square: ch3 (does not count as a st), work around 5tr in each corner of the square and 3 tr in each block, ss in first st to join. Fasten off and weave in all the ends on the wrong side.
Optional with black cotton and needle embroidery around the heart to underline it.
Get involved in Granny Square Day 2023
1. Take a photo of a granny square (a 4-round traditional granny works best but feel free to be as creative as you want)
2. Crop it so that the single square fills the entire screen of your post
3. Be sure to include the hashtag #grannysquareday2023 in the description of your Instagram post, as when viewing the hashtag the Instagram grid format assembles the squares into a virtual granny square blanket!
